The Pantry Moved

A folksy name for a source-table transition — when upstream replaces a table mid-history.

The plain-language framing of a source-table transition: the ingredients didn't change, but the pantry moved — upstream swapped one table for another partway through history. It frames data migration as a continuity problem (keep cooking the same dish from a relocated pantry), resolved by a seam date in SOURCE_MERGES.
