Anti-pattern
The anti-pattern: treating the model as a picture to be drawn rather than knowledge to be captured — so it informs nobody and generates nothing.
The model is treated as a picture. Boxes and lines, arranged until they look right, exported to PNG, pasted into a deck. It may be accurate. It is not usable: nothing is generated from it, nothing is validated against it, and the reasoning behind every choice lives outside it. The giveaway is what happens when reality changes. A drawing must be redrawn — by hand, by whoever owns the file, if they remember. A model gets updated once and everything downstream follows.
